Butterfield Bank - Eliptical Staricase

Scope: Soheil Mosun Limited was commissioned to design-build, supply and install this three (3) story custom eliptical staircase with patinaed bronze cladding, custom patinaed railings and glazing, for the main atrium of the Butterfield Bank, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Highlights: Structural steel staircase clad with SML-C3 patinaed muntz bronze inside and outside of stringers. 168’ of railings are patinaed bronze and secured with custom built fasteners secured to posts and glazing. Structural steel components were 3D modeled and templated in shop and shipped to Bermuda for installation. Cladding is .050” Muntz Bronze cut and formed to the staircase. Stone treads and risers are comprised of white marble.
